Light and pain

Research confirms: Blue, amber, and red wavelengths of light can increase the intensity of migraine pain. A narrow band of green light, around 520–530 nm, is typically better tolerated during an attack and, in some people, may help reduce pain intensity.

Dual blue and red light blocking. Most migraine glasses block only blue light. Our lenses also block amber and red light - two additional wavelength ranges associated with light sensitivity and pain. This makes them up to 2x more effective than traditional migraine lenses.

Natural colour perception. The lenses provide maximum relief while keeping the difference in perceived colours almost unnoticeable. When you put them on, you will barely feel the colours have changed.

Wearable before and during an attack. Put them on early to stop the pain from developing, or during an attack to ease the symptoms.

Prescription and reading lenses are made to order, with an estimated production time of around 8 weeks. Each lens is tinted individually, so slight differences in lens color may occur.

Parcels are dispatched on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. To have your parcel dispatched on the next shipping day, please place your order by 4:00 PM on the previous day.

Example: if you would like your parcel to be shipped on Monday, please place your order by Sunday at 4:00 PM.

Fovea Blue® orders are shipped from Poland. For shipments outside Poland, the customer may be required to pay additional charges before delivery, such as VAT or customs duties.

European Union

Orders within the European Union are processed within 1–3 business days. After dispatch, the estimated delivery time is usually 2–5 business days.

United Kingdom

Orders to the United Kingdom are processed within 1–3 business days. After dispatch, the estimated delivery time is usually 4–9 business days.

How to Care for Your Lenses

• With regular wear, dust, oils, and everyday marks may build up on the lenses. To keep them clear and help prevent scratches, rinse the lenses with cool water before wiping them.
• Use only a clean microfiber cloth. If the cloth is dirty, wash it first and allow it to dry completely.
• After rinsing, gently dry the lenses with a clean microfiber cloth, without applying strong pressure or rubbing aggressively.
• Store your glasses in their case in a cool, dry place, away from high temperatures and direct sunlight.

Do Not Use

The following products and materials may damage the lenses or their surface. Do not use:

• alcohol,
• harsh chemicals,
• detergents, laundry powder, or strong dishwashing liquid,
• paper towels not intended for optical lenses,
• wipes not intended for optical lenses,
• dirty or rough fabrics.

What to Use

For safe cleaning, we recommend:

• a clean Fovea Blue® microfiber cloth,
• cool water,
• if needed, one drop of mild dish soap diluted in water.

After washing, rinse the lenses thoroughly with cool water and gently dry them with a clean microfiber cloth.
